Alot has happened
it's been 27 weeks since my last post, a little bit has happened since then. i left for bootcamp that tuesday. i arrived on wednesday, they shaved my head and made all us recruits stay up for 48 hours, it was intense, we got treated like toejam. after about 5 weeks we started having alot of fun though there was pistol training, marline spike(line handleing for docking and casting off boats) pictures and at the end battle stations 23 (it was ok i guess). when i graduated my mom dad nanny and bobbie joe came down and visited me. it was good to see them, it was good to be out of that base. it was so boring.
the sunday after graduation i was on a flight to south carolina. i arrived at nnptc (naval nuclear power training command) and loved it, it was a brand new adventure, i came with a couple of guys from boot camp and we had some fun the first week. but after that week was over it was time to go to school. at first it was ok. i was in class for 8 hours a day stayed in class after to study for a manditory 2 hours a day. and then test one for math came and killed me, now i was required to stay about 5 hours a day after class every day and even show up for studying on saturdays (along with sundays) i somehow managed to fail bm 1 and then i barely passed math 2 and i still got denied phase (phase determines what you can and cant do, phase one means you can only wear navy uniforms, can't drink and can't be out of your room past 12)i was stuck on phase one, and then i passed bm 2! i was excited things were looking up, i went home that very weekend and married my wife bobbie jo, we have been married for about 3 months now. well my trend in grades didn't incline like test two would have suggested, because i fell harder and harder into the hole soon i was finding it harder to learn harder to study it was just so overbearing trying to learn every iota of material. i eventually lost. i failed nuke school. my adviser took a look at my scores on sailorization, that's my inspection scores as far as uniform, room, and overall effort and decided that i don't deserve to go un-designated into the fleet so he gave me the option of another a-school. after that i was sent to dtp. it was super boring. every third day i had to stay the night at the dtp building instead of going home to my wife..it blew. i finally got my orders to leave dtp and move up to Groton CT so i did. i got all my stuff moved by movers and me and bobbie jo drove up i had ellie with me in my truck and angel was in bobbies jetta with her. we drove the first night and everything was fine we passed through south and north carolina and stopped in virginia for the night, the next morning we woke up early and trekked on. we made it to new jersey and her car started fucking up, we were literally traveling on the NJ turnpike at 50 mph so that her car didn't blow up, and we finally stopped in the middle of jersey for the night. later that night my mom called and we got out uncle alex (who lived about 5 miles south of where we stopped) to come out and help us with our car troubles, we got it running again. the next morning we set out at 5 in the morning and drove through NJ, then we fought through NY and then finally, yes, finally we were in Connecticut and we only had little ways to go! we drove for about 3 more hours and we arrived in Groton, we stopped at a hotel and asked directions to the base and he gave us some so we went i checked in and then we went to go get housing to live in, we got our house and it's ok, not great, SC housing was better. it was ok though. now i'm here in my house hating it because i have no furniture, and i don't feel at all comfortable in this place. i wish the movers wouldn't have to get here tomorrow i'm tired of that fucking air mattress. well anyway much love everybody! maybe i'll see you in my travels.
