My company (Science Adventures) is looking to do a mass hire and I'm doing the phone screens for interested parties. This job is SO MUCH FUN (I've been doing it for 2 years and love it) but we are running short on instructors for our the demand for our program. It's limited part time with starting pay at $16 an hour. If you know anyone who wants to get teaching experience on their resume, or if they just love kids it's a great fit!

Science Adventures, a division of Knowledge Learning Corporation, is looking to hire self motivated and dependable part- time instructors to work in a creative school-age environment. Our instructors teach a predetermined “hands on” curriculum to elementary aged children in an after school setting. Don't let the Science scare you. It's fun and really easy.
Programs are taught at public and private elementary schools in Seattle, Bellevue, Mercer Island, Kirkland, Kenmore, Bothell, Woodinville, Issaquah, Fall City, Sammamish, Everett, and Shoreline areas.
Clubs meet regularly, once a week for a one hour lesson. Average start time for clubs range from 1:00pm - 3:45pm. Each instructor will work approximately 5-8 hours per week.
Pay Scale: $16 per hour
Requirements: Applicants must have 2-5 afternoons available per week, reliable transportation, HS Graduate, afternoon availability and experience working in some sort of a leadership setting.
