Happy and Sad, all in one day

May 10, 2007 20:08

Today was my brothers graduation day from Auburn University. So this morning I got up at the crack of dawn and got ready and waiting for my parents, who were late :P  Well my parents came up to my apartment (for the first time)  and my mom wanted to tell me something. She told me something I didnt expect to hear. My grandmother passed away last night around midnight....I just saw her last sunday and she was recovering from a kidney problem and she sounded better, she was smiling and goofin and bein herself and now shes gone, I misses her. I know she'd rather see me smiling, I'm trying, i remember her and I do smile. My grandfather is also a very great, loving, caring man who took great care of his wife, my moms mom, my grandmother. We'll all be there for him for now and forever.

So we went to auburn, sat and waited in the basketball stadium (w/ a/c, thank the mighty gods of a/c) for about an hour and half i think and it began, about 2.5 hours and 2500 students later it was done. Glad and Proud to see my lil brother graduate. We went back to montgomery and went to the Macaroni Grill for food...and they're no longer there, closed....i didnt know, when did that happen??  So we went to The Olive Garden and had some good italian'sh foods and some Chocolate Moose Cheesecake, yum.

Well I found out around seven tonight the funeral will be monday and the viewing sunday. I'll be one of the pallbearers. So I think I'll be ok to do that, it'll be an honor, Love my grandmother lots. But no one deserves to see a big tall hairy guy all teary eyed and snotty (snot sucks btw and so does water from the eyes) I think I might almost be alright to do that. It'll be me and my bro and a cousin and 2 uncles.

If anyone who reads this can suggest any good non super expensive suit shops that will be open friday and saturday that would be awesome!

Thanks for all my awesome family and friends who are helping me get through this.

We Love You Grandma and Shall Miss you Lots!!
::hugs::
