Ok, so the title of the entry really doesn't mean much to the whole entry entirely, I just thought it sounded kinda cool. ANYway...this entry has enough information for a clean breakdown! Huzzah!
Airsoft News - We had a huge scenario game yesterday about 40-45 people showed up. We started the day off with a few castle games: the fort stays neutral until one team runs in a starts a stopwatch then that team has to hold it for 15 minutes our camo team lost both games...so that was a little upsetting. The only sort of good news to come from that was that I almost ended a kids airsoft career in one day. I had one beautiful shot right in the kids neck. I say it was sort of good news because the kid was still in gradeschool and his parents flipped out when we went back to staging area. They then left in in a fury :-D Sorry kid. However!, after a quick return to the staging area for reloading and re hydrating, we were already for the big two hour scenario that was ahead of us.
The scenario was something like this (I came back from staging a little late and had to piece together the info I missed). There was a small wooden box that contained bombs for the two teams; camo and black. in the bag of "bombs" there were flags to mark the destroyed buildings. Oh, before I go any further, when I say write "bombs" I mean smoke bombs. Ok, back on track. Well, our mission was to go into enemy territory and destroy four of their main buildings. Our little "smoke" team of about six people was awesome! I was the one who ended up grabbing the bombs and I gave the bag to a friend of mine who had a lighter. The CO and I took point and lead our team through the woods. We ran into a little opposition at first but as we continued deeper into enemy territory we had to fight off people from every direction. As soon as I was told that we had enemies moving on our six, I took two other members of our team to set up a bit of an ambush. We held off two of the attackers then I told the two members with me to go and meet up with the rest of the smoke team. Now, whatever the smoke team did from hear on out is a mystery to me. What I did was drop back even further behind enemy lines and found a nice spot to lay and snipe from. It worked pretty well too...considering when I shot a guy he got really pissed that he couldn't see me that he decided to scream...a lot. Well long story short (I know I know..."why the fuck didn't you do this in the first time Brad?!") we ended up winning the scenario game. Well, that wrapped up airsoft news I move from that to the celebration!
Mind you the group size dropped substantially and only one person who played airsoft with me was there at the party. The other people were just various friends :-P. However, I did manage to get VERY drunk and I did manage to have a great time doing it! And, since I've lost all interest in writing today and my anger for people who don't come right out and say things increases by each passing day; I leave you. (yes it was a party thing, no it's not you)
