the most unexpected things that make your night are by far the best things EVER. Sylvia Mishoulam-the award goes to you this evening. Thank you SO SO much. You maybe have no idea how great that is/makes me feel.
anyways, i'm so proud of all of my friends and who we've become. i look at all these different people and i can't be anything but proud. each and every one of us is growing into a mature, beautiful young adult. no matter what we're doing, whether it's working, going to school, etc. etc...i just want EACH of you individually to know how proud i am to say i know you:-D
i know joe doesn't read this but his senior solo tonight was so good. he's going good places w/ all of his talent and i'm excited for him to see where it takes him. who knew i'd actually get tears in my eyes from his solo tonight?! cuz i sure didn't!
im listening to this "love songs" station on launchcast right now and i really love it. sometimes it makes me sad but right now, it's perfect for my mood and i'm just typing right along lovin all of these old school songs they're playing. wow, you raise me up by josh groban just came on which was joe's solo..he played piano and sang...weird since i was just talking about it!
"How do you say good-bye. Well, I have decided not to exactly. I know I will still see you all but it is going to be very hard to let go. I know I am suffering empty nest syndrome, and the hole left by the loss of so many wonderful lives is very hard. I know when August rolls around, they will probably have to tie me down to keep me from heading back to class!
Please stay in touch. You all are very special in that I have taught many from day one in nursing.
The best wish I can give all of you is that you love nursing so that in many years when you look back as I have been doing, you see nothing but bright smiling faces. You see grace, dignity, love and fulfillment. I know we don't enter this realtionship to meet our own needs, but you have given me such joy over the years I cannot thank you enough.
My wish is to love yourself, love others, and be the best nurse possible. If you do, you will know the joy I feel now.

^^^that's an email one of my professors who i've had at least one, if not both semesters, every year since freshman year that retired after this school year sent all of us. i think it's really sweet--she's such a nice lady and she was a good teacher. i know she'll still be around all the time though:) i just thought it was nice and cool that she took the time to do something like this.
hahaha...i got this email today and it's funny b/c some more than others TOTALLY apply to me....lol
#2-true b/c i do dance like an asshole when i'm drunk...i believe ellen has it on camera to prove it...LOL
#5-i don't cry but i do tell everyone that i love them and i also apologize a lot...i guess i think ppl are annoyed w/ me b/c i'm drunk,loud,all over the place and crazy.
#6-yep. that's all i gotta say about that. see number 2...lol
**WHEN WE GIRLS DRINK TOO MUCH............
1. WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHERE OUR PURSE IS.
2. WE BELIEVE THAT DANCING WITH OUR ARMS OVERHEAD AND WIGGLING OUR BUTT
WHILE YELLING "WOO-HOO!" IS TRULY THE SEXIEST DANCE MOVE AROUND.
3. WE'VE SUDDENLY DECIDED THAT WE WANT TO KICK SOMEONE'S ASS AND HONESTLY
BELIEVE WE COULD DO IT TOO.
4. IN OUR LAST TRIP TO PEE, WE REALIZE THAT WE NOW LOOK MORE LIKE A HOMELESS
HOOKER THAN THE GODDESS WE WERE JUST FOUR HOURS AGO
5.WE START CRYING AND TELLING EVERYONE WE SEE THAT WE LOVE THEM SOOOOO MUCH.
6. WE GET EXTREMELY EXCITED AND JUMP UP AND DOWN EVERY TIME A NEW SONG
PLAY'S BECAUSE "OH MY GOD! I LOVE THIS SONG!"
7. WE'VE FOUND A DEEPER/SPIRITUAL SIDE TO THE GEEK SITTING NEXT TO US.

9. WE YELL AT THE BARTENDER, WHO WE BELIEVE CHEATED US BY GIVING US JUST

10. WE THINK WE ARE IN BED, BUT OUR PILLOW FEELS STRANGELY LIKE THE KITCHEN

11. WE FAIL TO NOTICE THAT THE TOILET LID'S DOWN WHEN WE SIT ON IT.
12. WE TAKE OUR SHOES OFF BECAUSE WE BELIEVE IT'S THEIR FAULT THAT WE'RE
HAVING PROBLEMS WALKING STRAIGHT.
"ashley is one of the brightest and all around amazing people i know...she can put a smile on my face no matter what and she is going to do amazing things." EXACTLY what i needed to hear/see...and from someone who i know *at least hope!haha* is being totally honest and not just a 'let's say this to impress her' kinda deal about it.
final grades are up! i'm not trying to brag and make anyone feel under me but i'm so happy with myself. straight a's and 1 b+ is the final putting my gpa at a 3.898 or something like that. i'm just so proud that i did that well...all my hard work and 9000 hours of studying and little sleep paid off~! i bet all my girlies did super too and congrats to everyone. a great way to end off junior year:) i know i couldn't think of a better one!
sad story....i took doogan to the vet today and he's developed a heart murmur. out of 6 stages, it's graded a 2-3 so it's not horrible and we just have to watch him for a few things that show it could be worsening but that makes me sad that it could potentially turn into something bad. he's not super old....they have him as being 16 which i'm pretty sure they keyed in wrong b/c he is definitely NOT that old...i think he's 10. they also recommended that he get his teeth cleaned w/ a procedure where they put him under and said they may need to remove one of them b/c it may be infected.....expensive stuff but he's worth every penny! we gotta talk to the vet about it and see what we're gonna do. i feel like ellen w/ pigeon- though this will still probably be cheaper than that dang old cat:-P so now i'm just hoping he stays ok for the rest of his life/a long time and is like a human who has a heart murmur b/c i think my life would be over if anything happened to him now:(
well wind beneath my wings by better middler is probably my cue to stop adding on to this long journal update:-P*that i thought was gonna be like 1 paragraph* so over and out from the big ole stj!;) have a great one guys...and call me so we can hang out! i'm free all week except thurs-sat, which i guess only leaves 2 days since it's already tues..haha:)
