(no subject)
Ok, so apparently the March post for doing a Magna Carta cosplay at AB has been thrown out the window. NOW I've been talked into doing Bishop (Ernest Rammsteiner) from Dogs. Granted, I have not read the manga and only agreed to it by visual observation only, so I'll have to research it. It looks relatively easy to do.
Next convention is Ohayocon, and it should be good driving practice for when I drive up to AB later in the year. I really have no new costumes to bring (well, bringing Aku to Ohayo will be new, but thats about it.) Once again I have been procrastinating cosplay since other things have come up.
It would be nice if I had a network of friends to do group cosplays with, but instead I'm left to fall into the mass-group cosplays (the Narutards and Bleachtards) which despite people saying I'm one of the best Jiraiya's they've seen, I'm really sick of doing it.
But yeah...need to finish Milineum Earl, and then this Bishop thing.
Oh, and I'm contemplating doing Goofy anyway..maybe just once or twice (the less exposure the better)
On the home front:
- Thanksgiving was quiet
- Roommates bought a tree for Christmas (bad news for the cats.) I told him if he's getting a tree, he needs to take down the Cinco de Mayo decorations that have been up for like,3 years now.
- Job extended my contract (a good/bad thing, but personally could be better)
- Second Life is eating up my casual time.
