Snagged this from
silentscream821 , because her poem turned out pretty damn cool. Lets see how mine goes shall we?

Instructions: Put your MP3 player thingy on shuffle, and write down the first line of the first twenty songs. Post the poem that results. The first line of the 21st is your title.

Today I heard that someone left this earth

There may come a time
Oh Lover, hold on
I should never think
Down on cyprus avenue

Two weeks later like a surplus reprieve
The yellowed page of the books and books I'd forgotten that I had
So lay down your weary head
You cool your bedwarm hands down on the broken radiator

Pinch me is this real?
Don't worry now it's all erased, burn to grey and white.
Fill these spaces up with days
I'd be hanging on their words

It's sure as the floor beneath my toes
The winter marked the earth
When the rain is blowing in your face
We were born before the wind

They called holiday an option for a reason
I was a quick wet boy, diving too deep for coins
Lay lady lay, lay across my big brass bed.
If I could take you away.

Note: I hope you guys enjoyed my procrastination... off to study chem now!
