(no subject)
Well, I've reinstated my Christmas party in full. I decided it really wouldn't feel like Christmas with all my friends there, so I said to those who are 'popping in' that it's back on, and they are welcome to mess me around, erm, I mean pop in when they can!
Went to Tesco today and bought all the food, so it's all systems go.
My Jet CD arrived in the post today (courtesy of SarahSpacey) - it's great.
My neighbour (hereinafter referred to as "the nutter") finally moved out today - yay! Mind you, she pissed the new people off. All day they've been loading up in a van (which blocked our drive - nice of "the nutter" to warn us), so I had time to move my car!
I discovered the new people on the drive when I got home at 4.15pm - apparently "the nutter" was still packing her stuff! They had a huge lorry waiting to unload, and it was looking like another couple of hours before "the nutter" moved out. The new guy was, understandably, spitting feathers!
Watched 'Marple' this evening - recorded from Sunday. Not up to much, but nice to see David Walliams having a fairly big part in it. Even Mr Bagpuss, who hates Little Britain, recognised him! I could tell, because every time he appeared on screen, Mr B said "yeah but, no but, yeah but, no but!" (Although he knows Vicky is Matt, not David!).
A fairly uneventful day really, but a good one. :-)
