No internets
The phone/internet cables that provide connections to our street were stolen again.
The result: no internets for me. Surprisingly, Scout and I have been more productive and for some reason our Adsense earnings are rising. The productivity is easy to explain - less distractions. As for Adsense, in theory you're supposed to be earning more if you post more. In theory.
Another result: was able to write a fun article about the woes of 3rd world web workers for one of the blogs I write for. So I guess I made money out of having my cables stolen? (I am also the type who has asked PLDT to not charge me for the days they didn't provide service, so what this is costing me is P20/hr of internets in the net cafe on the next street)
Since we're more productive without internet, I was sort of considering not subscribing anymore. But I love torrents and Skype, so, uhm, no to that plan.

A new idea: maybe when the internets returns, I can experiment with my work schedule in such a way to work for only 3 days (either MTW or MWF) per week, 4 to 5 hours per day. With no internets unless I have to submit stuff. I want to see if I can retain the increased productivity with the net connection back in place.
