Trekness and school
I've downloaded both Star Trek: Elite Force and Star Trek: Bridge Commander. Elite Force is a 1st person shooter, while Bridge Commander is more tactical and stuff because you're the captain of your own starship.
Elite Force makes me puke - I've never had a high tolerance of the dizziness induced by 1st person shooters. Also, it shows I am a coward because half the time I'm thinking "What am I doing attepting to destroy the Borg? I should be cooking in the mess hall."
I like Bridge Commander, it's more my kind of game, but I'm stuck in a certain level where I can't for the life of me figure out how to disable the Ferengi ship's warp engines.
God, the geekiness has taken over. I'm a step away from wearing a costume and attending conventions.

What got me out of bed today was the thought that I was going to do my work and that I loved doing it.
We should all be able to wake up and smil knowing we'll be doing the work we love.
