fight apathy... or don't
That 1 Guy was pretty good last night. I didn't realize that he was opening for Buckethead. So his set was fairly short. I still enjoyed it. He even played Somewhere Over the Rainbow. It was awesome.
I had never heard Buckethead before. I didn't realize the name was literal. It was one guy, wearing a white mask and a bucket on his head. He played guitar with a pre-recorded track of all the other instruments playing in the background. He never spoke the whole time I was there. It was novel at first, but after a few songs it just started sounding like the world's longest 80's hair metal guitar solo. At one point he stopped playing guitar completely and passed out things to the audience while the background music played. It was like insane Santa Claus or something. But after that it was just boring and annoying and giving me a headache so me, Mike, and Belinda left. Jacob stayed there for the whole thing and caught a ride home with someone else. That 1 Guy was going to come back and play some stuff with Buckethead and I would've liked to have seen that, but Mike and Belinda did not care and I didn't want to listen to more of Buckethead just to see a few more minutes of That 1 Guy.
It was still fun overall though. That 1 Guy was awesome and I got to leave when I got bored. Good times.
