I got mail!
First, big and heartfelt thank yous to dear mews1945, julchen11 and frolijah_fan_54 for the beautiful cards and lovely good wishes. I got them yesterday, and they really made my day, or rather my weekend.:)
As for my own cards, I'm not sure I'll manage to send them before the holidays.:( On a whim, I decided to crochet the ornaments I usually put in the envelopes along with the cards; I like to crochet, so it wasn't a chore in the last. But I'm sorely lacking in practicality, and I had crocheted quite a few ornaments before it occurred to me to check whether those would fit in the envelopes or not. And of course, they wouldn't, not without folding the ornaments; which was impossible anyway, because I had sugar-starched them and they were stiff as a board. So, I'm currently crocheting smaller ornaments as fast as it's humanly possible, and hopefully I'll be done by the end of the week. *wipes brow*
Well, I'll leave you in the company of this amazing crocheted cake and I'll come back to my hook.:)
