Birthday thanks
I'd like to thank frodosweetstuff, frolijah_fan_54, addie71, annwyn55, arabia764, mews1945, claudia603, withywindle01, nimue_8, telstar109 (I never realised I had so many LJfriends who had an username with numbers in it! It gives my flist a cool SF feeling:)) rakshi, lbilover, melanieathene, lisabellex, honeyandvinegar, belleferret and aliensouldream for all the wonderful birthday messages, good wishes, gorgeous icons and lovely V-gifts. You really made me feel special. I hope I didn't miss someone. Let me know if I did!

I had a lovely day in RL too, although it was a little weird at times. I've been meaning to repaint my son's bedroom for months, but maybe it wasn't such a good idea to start on my birthday. I spent the day alternatively painting and cooking for the small party we were having in the evening, and I can't guarantee there wasn't a little blue paint left in the food. We all survived, though, so the pigment content must have been pretty low. Then as I was putting appetizers on the coffee table I got stung by a wasp, and my right hand swelled so much that it looked like a handful of pinkish sausages and I found myself unable to use it. It hurt, but everything has a silver lining, after all: my guests took over, and I spent the rest of the evening being looked after and pampered like a queen instead of running about serving food. It was great!:)
