Isn't that icon gorgeous? It was made by the very talented and generous annwyn55, and I just wish I could use it more often than once a year. Fortunately, besides the fact that the icon is a delight to look at, it turned out to be somewhat inspirational...
A drabble and a half (150 words), PG
The young man stared at his reflection, an aristocratic eyebrow raised appraisingly, and smiled with smug satisfaction at the unfamiliar image of himself.
Small and slender rather than strong and muscular, the lithe body was not exactly on a par with the usual standards of male beauty, but he knew for a fact that Michelangelo and Vinci would have fought over the privilege of painting that face, and those eyes would have sent them search the whole country for the rarest indigo and cerulean pigments.
He stretched experimentally, admiring the taut arch of the strong white neck. Absolutely perfect. He really had surpassed himself this year. Both men and women were bound to fall under his spell, easy prey for his youthful and deceptively innocuous charms.
Grinning wickedly, the Tempter left Hell in a puff of smoke and sulphur, ready to let his new incarnation wreak havoc upon the world.
