(no subject)
Yesterday I was trying to classify my pictures by subject (that was easy!) and by year, and I discovered a picture I don't know.

I think I found it in a French site, but I don't remember one thing about it. I become senile! Does someone know what shot this is from? I called it 'Narcissus' and I find it strangely fascinating. I am wondering if it's possible to avoid narcissism if you are beautiful and you see your face everywhere, like Elijah does...
Today one of my students was very absent-minded. I asked him if he was all right, and he answered that he was not at his best, because he didn't see his mother since November '04. I was stunned, so I said, stupidly:' Are you sure!?' He said:' Yes. My parents are divorced (I knew he's living with his father) and my mom says she doesn't love me anymore.' His voice was shaking, but he wasn't crying. He's 14 years old.
I know it's not a solution, but I really want to slap that woman in the face!
