The Paper that Would not Die

I had a paper due in my Intro to African American history class due yesterday. I tried to work on it over my band trip to New York, but that's hard on a bus when movies are playing, I flat out cannot concentrate when that is happening. I figured though that I could get alot of work done on the way down since everyone was saying how much work they had to get done and I figured that noone would want a movie on. There were movies the entire way down, so I got practically no work done the entire time. The essay requires a ton of reading that I simply could not finish in time to even start on the paper before class, so I decided to take the 1/3 of a paper letter grade reduction and try to write a really good paper.

That would've worked had I not fallen asleep accidentally before finishing the reading again. Now I have to be satisfied with a 2/3 paper letter grade reduction that would not have happened had I gotten any work done on the trip.

Did I mention that I also have a test tomorrow. I have to study for that tonight as well as write this paper.

It was nice to actually get a decent amount of sleep last night. It was not nice to wake realizing that you had fallen asleep while working and that it was almost 7. There have been alot of mornings like that this semester and I wish they would stop.
