Stupid Cartoons
My Grandma is watching the stupidest cartoons ever. They're new and 'modern' and apparently often made in Canada. They're also always about normal kids in normal schools which are drawn in the ugliest possible way and have horrible voice actors.
Whatever happened to the cool cartoons of my childhood?? Darkwing Duck, Captain Balu, Animals of Farthing Wood (the first piece of fiction I ever wrote was a rip-off of Animals of Farthing Wood), where are you? I tried to change programs for my grandma since I can't imagine she enjoys or understands those cartoons, but the only thing that got any reaction out of her was a TNG episode. She saw Beverley and exclaimed "That woman has strange hair!" (I thought she actually witnessed the Eighties...) and then she got scared of the crappy Star Trek aliens (come on, it wasn't even Mr Worf. I used to be scared of Worf as a kid.) and I switched programs again.
OMG! I was just writing this when suddenly there was a huge CRASH! sound from the other room. One of our windows broke! o___O
