Funny how reading a science fiction story can bring about OLD memories.....
Then the discussion group here on LJ re-enforces the memory....
Then you end up Looking for evidence of the events or subject of said memory...
"Here I thought I would find a missing link to Moose-Nose Pudding! It SOUNDS gross, but I remember having it at my Great Grand Mother's (b1886-d1968) house at Thanksgiving dinner when I was a child. My Great Uncle got a moose just about every year. They were subsistence farmers in NH. None of the living relatives has a recipe for the stuff. 'Namie' was illiterate and learned everything by trial and error. Her 4 children all went to college and became teachers."
Then, you end up blogging about something that seems completely non-sequiter to the rest of your life in general.
Then you find out, that as bad as your own spelling might be; LJ's spell check leaves MUCH to be desired.
