FIVE
five things make a post?
1) Same Ole Stuff; Different Day at the job. No good prospects for getting back home to Maine.
2) We celebrated the anniversary of our first meeting with a day at the American Museum of Natural History and then dinner at Poppy's Place in Floral Park. We had been meaning to go there for a while now. It was lovely. Fun day, but I am not going to indoor activities anymore on the weekends of school holidays. It is not a wonder to me that children are thought to be ruder these days......their parents certainly are!
3) Planning a trip home for Beltain at Popham beach. I have never been and have always wanted to go.
4) Today is my Mum's birthday. She would have been 76. I miss my folks, more than I thought I would. Especially considering how long they have been gone.
5) Got to visit with a Maine friend on Sunday in New Jersey. The children she is caring for, for a weekend were delightful! And it was so nice to catch up with her. We shared news of our jobs and children and siblings, over dinner. It made me just a little more homesick than I was already.
6) Bonus, just for reading all this way, There are flowers everywhere I look, here on Long Island. Its beautiful.
