It's late
I really should go to bed, but I'm utterly horrified and fascinated by two things: the approach of Hurricane Gustav which may be classified as a category 5 hurricane (winds of 150 knots) at some point in the next few hours and is heading inexorably across Cuba towards Louisiana; and also by the train-wreck that is the selection of Sarah Palin for Republican Vice Presidential candidate by John McCain.
I just wish I felt sleepy, I'm so fed up of going to bed late and not sleeping and lying awake and restless. I may as well blog than lie there feeling irritable and worried. At least I get a lie-in tomorrow.
