I actually watched television last night for the first time for ages. I watched the first in the new series of Torchwood and really enjoyed seeing Captain Jack and Captain John (James Marsters in full-on Spike nastiness mode) getting it on in a bar and then having a fight. Very nice - oh yes!
I may actually bother to watch the rest of the series which is unheard of for me considering I said I'd do it with Heroes and only actually managed to watch the first episode :is useless:
In other news:
- I went to Lush in Carlisle on my way home from a meeting and spent my birthday tokens on lots of nice stuff to try and get my face skin in some sort of order. I also bought a Freya bra for half price in the Debenhams sale which is very much against my not-buying-anything-this-month resolution. In my defence, it fits, it's pretty and a lot of my bras are very uncomfortable at the moment.
- It's rained all year so far and I'm fed up with it
- Dave is off on a winter mountain-skills course in Glen Mor on 9th Feb, so I will be on my own with the dogs and no car for a weekend
- I've spent the evening playing along to folk music on my new recorder. I'd better shut up now because the study is adjacent to next door's bedroom and it's 10:45pm which is a bit anti-social. But I do love my recorder with a passion! I just need to practise some scales
- I had my one-to-one at work (quarterly review) and as usual Joe and I disagreed about the way the Wildlife Sites System is set up. But he's leaving in a months time and I'm hoping there will be a big shake up
- It looks like David may take back my management rather than it being given to the new person (whoever that is)
