I Swallow the Sound and It Swallows Me Whole. Til There's Nothing Left Inside My Soul.
Went to go see Black Swan yesterday with Jenny and a group of her other friends
It was such a visceral movie with layers upon layers of dimension
I don't know where to begin honestly, and wouldn't quite know where to stop
It was highly personal for both Jenny and I (thematically, not content-wise)
It just reaches into your gut and shows you your own black swan twin I suppose
The frail main character so broken and striving so hard to be perfect reminded us of ourselves
And in a larger picture I think a lot of people feel the same
I think the movie shows the extreme in a multitude of situations, but if you break it down to it's basic elements
Then it really gets you thinking
I loved it
That movie and Let Me In are two movies that I wouldn't mind buying the minute they hit the shelves
Both are amazing, both are very different, both are gorgeous
In other news I finished watching Ouran High School Host Club (that Jenny let me know about)
And it was such a hilariously smart and entertaining anime
The ending was very satisfying and now I am going to watch the other animes that Jenny recommended
Staying at Haley's house for a while I suppose
