Today two very eyebrow raising things happened
One:
A woman comes up to my register with only three things she is purchasing
- 12 pack of Budlight
- Malboro's
- Pregnancy test
I mean...it made me stop and wonder
It's really almost poetic in a weird kind of way right?
And two:
A man comes up with a disposable camera asking to get it developed
He uses a coupon that makes the roll cost only five bucks
I have three rolls already processing and there is an hour and half until close
I tell him that he might have to come back tomorrow
And he gets all riled up smiling saying "That means I get it free right? I mean, it's an hour or less guaranteed right?"
I tell him that I don't know the protocol on that and will get my manager to talk to him if he wishes
He neverminds the whole thing and walks out, making sure to look back at me from the door
Insert raised eyebrow here
I develop the film
It's a bunch of naked photos of some woman
I get the hibby jibbys because this is the second instance that I have come across naked photos while at Walgreens
At least it wasn't a naked man this time right? @.@
Anyway, they process and as they shoot out of the print machine I notice something
The rolls starts off with a clothed woman, younger looking like the man who brought them in, giggling and looking at a vase of flowers
Then she is naked lying down with her behind to the camera
X_X
The next shots are of a woman, older than the other woman, sitting in a car
Next shot she is sitting on a bed in a hotel
And again with the nakedness, only this time the woman is facing the camera and standing up
#_#
I am not sure what the narrative is here, or if I even want to know
I just know that the shot at the end of the roll was of a little girl in a puffy pink dress sitting on a couch
And I am a very confused bagel
And completely unrelated to work:
I got my grades in!
Photo 4 : A-
Studio Lighting: A-
Intro to Philosophy: B-
History of Photo: B+
Digital Cinema: C
I am actually very surprised that my grade in Digital Cinema was as high as it is
I was expecting a D or something
But I guess she sees that I am doing to work @.@
Anyway, those are nice grades because they give me a 3.0 - and that means no letter from admissions saying:
"ZOMG! YER Hope Scholarship might be gone if you keep this up! AHHHH!"
And it also means that if I maintain these grades then I will be fine
However, I intend to bring them up (maybe not in my photo classes, that would be nice though, A or A+ yes thank you! ^0^)

I finished an entire book last night and now have let Jenny and her mom borrow it
The newest Sarah Addison Allen book came in the other day and last night I finished it at around 5 in the morning
The Girl Who Chased the Moon
(don't have this cover, but me likes it!)
