I had such a crush on him when I read the book in high school. He was my Edward Cullen, but awesome.

Tom was my favourite character throughout the books and the movies. Poor guy. His almost-but-not-quite-family relationship with the Corleone brothers and Vito made me squee! Especially some of the Vito/Tom and Sonny/Tom moments. <3

I'm so glad you feel this way.
He's clearly the best. I felt bad for him at the end where Michael finally pulls the "Not a Corleone" card out on the German-Irishman.
