Fae - a pox on both your houses
What type of Fae are you?
Well it has only been about 100 years since I updated. I told you I was bad at this. I survived hell month (March) at work, but then promptly got sick and had house guests. So, here I am in April, not a lot farther ahead than I was in November. Some random thoughts.
The only cool thing I did since the new year was read this really amazing book called "Resenting the Hero" by an author called Moira Moore. Go buy the book - these are not the droids you are looking for.
I also read The De Vinci Code (however you spell it) and was a bit disappointed by it...but it has renewed my interest in religious studies. To bad I spend Easter Sunday morning watching movies and playing on the computer. I guess there is a lightening bolt with my name on it somewhere.
Above my desk here at home I have the following quote by William James. "The greatest use of a life is to spend it on something that will outlast it." This is the sole reason I don't spend 24 hours a day playing The Sims 2 - Open for Business. At least I'm keeping busy.
My spouse and I paid off our car last week and now own it outright. 2 more years and I can say the same thing about the house.
