Long Time No See
So it's 3:42 A.M. as i start to write this.
I haven't used livejournal in a long, long time.
After many posts, i realized i was posting just in hopes of getting comments. Dissapointment followed....and who likes to be dissapointed? That's right....only masochists.
...soo i took a long break...
i might post more often now....but it'll be infrequent
I've been incredibly busy writing essays (upwards of four a week). I did, though, get to push out a trio of short stories i am quite happy with.
So I got a producer to...you know...produce my movie this christmas break.
Everything is very short notice so i'm wishing for a speedy crew and speedily helpful parents.
..Now all I need to do is finish the screenplay.
My fucking term paper first draft is almost done....and i started it today...props to myself for actually doing the fucker.
Thefacebook.com is my new stomping grounds. I love it.
I seeing the first basketball game of the season tomorrow (HELLA YEA!), and FSU/UF game tomorrow (thanks to the Corrigan's, esp. the loverly sarah, HELLA YEA!), and seeing the Killers in concert on sunday (oh HELLA YEA!!)
Quite excited for i love that band.
Also, lucky me got tickets to the Muse concert in orlando on the 2nd of December. Samir and i have decided to take cups to catch our faces when they melt.
That'll come in handy.
I did yoga for the first time. I liked it. It's a good and easier way for me to lose the weight I gained from my post surgery 6 week bedridden...ness.
I'm stuck in the middle of 4 video games: Star Ocean, Lord of the Rings: 3rd Age, Katamari Damacy, and Sly Cooper.
If only i had time to finish them.
So i'm in love with a new band...The Futureheads....they are fucking fantastic. The Who meets the Cure meets a cappela meets the Clash meets Radiohead (earlier years)
Other good bands i've been listening to: Art Brut, Bloc Party, The New Pornographers, Elbow, !!!, Beck, Secret Machines, the Concretes, DJ Marky, The Faint, DJ Shadow, Kings of Convenience, Libertines, MC Paul Barman, Scissor Sisters, Shins, & the Walkmen
I do love my music.
ALSO....i don't care what anyone says about them anymore....i fucking love 311...always have and always will.
Fuck the "they just always sound the same", "the lyrics suck", and "i don't like beach music" people who EVERY TIME i mention the band have to have some kind of "all musical taste should be based on me" bullshit. 311 is a damn good band, one of the best in my opinion, and one of the most versatile and original bands in our life times....and they deserve more credit for it.
