He's here
My brother arrived last night! I got a phone call from him yesterday afternoon; he was in Dallas about to get on a flight to California. He'd been traveling since Saturday night: Iraq to Kuwait to Ireland to Dallas. Four days of traveling, briefings and lots of layovers and waiting around. It's very frustrating how things work with the military, but I'm just happy he's home and safe. And at least they didn't officially start his leave until midnight last night. So his travel time doesn't count against his 2 weeks here.
We decided we're gonna leave Monday and drive to Oregon. Our mom and our older brother and his family are up there, and a couple of old family friends. I can't wait to get away from work!!
