Yesterday, Cindy and I went to the flea market that's next to the BART station. I bought a purse (blue, with two fish on it). Cindy was supposed to be looking at dishwear, but didn't. ;) It was interesting & felt a bit like ... home. Like a nightmarket, but different.
Not as permanent
And there's a drum circle
But it has the same sort of feel. Just different.
Today we went to the Cesar E. Chavez dog park. The weather was lovely - blue blue blue sky, no clouds, not totally freezing. We watched Bowdu run around again, and mostly sat and watched the dogs and the kites and the sailboats out on the water.
It IS really pretty here. I love the neighborhoods and the architecture and the bookstores and the view from the dog park.
I look forward to my next visit (or maybe a visit from the pack if I wind up on the West coast, too ...).
I can't believe I will be back in Taipei on Wednesday. I can't believe I've had nearly a month off school! I can't believe I have to play catchup!
I can't believe what a fabulous vacation this has been!
