Tubac!

I love Tubac - it's the high desert and gorgeous. Mum & I landed in Phoenix, got our rental car, then immediately headed for the hills (literally) - a 3+ hour drive later, and we were here:

Nicer than some of the places we saw in Macau!
Question, if I may... does your apt have a gate guard by any chance? I need to ship my laptop to Taiwan, but Ian nor I have gates.. nor am I shipping it 3-4 day, as it's too expensive... so it could take a few weeks to get here, on god only knows what day, so I'd like to explore any safer options than the ones I currently have.
Thanks and see you when you get back :)

No I don't have one (giant PITA, but you can't have everything) - the ICLP will allow packages to be mailed to them & that's probably a safe bet (I'd see if you could get Ian's name stuck on the package). That's what I'm doing with some of my PS2 games that are coming out RIGHT after I head back to Taiwan. I'd get Ian to ask the ICLP people if that would be OK, I can't imagine it wouldn't be.

I'm. . . I'm fucking appalled by the lack of profanity in your journal, as of late. Jesus! At-number-dollar-percenting, my ass.

Posting on the road is hard, isn't it?

I wanted to do a night-by-night update while we made our way across the country. It didn't work. For starters, connections were always a bit. . . touch and go-ey. And then there was the fact that car rides in excess of eight hours are exhausting, somehow. What's more, everything was so Jon Benet, while we were travelling, so that every morning I couldn't help but sit in front of the intravenous propaganda continuum and slip into a vegetative state. Sad luck story, I know.

One full day without cigarettes. A month with no psychotropics. My life is a hell.
