(no subject)
For several weeks I have wanted to update my journal, but I have been too busy. I can’t access LJ from work anymore, so I have tried to use my phone, but can’t log in properly. I feel like I am having to go through elementary school again because it takes my ENTIRE evening helping my daughter with her school work. Now I know why my mom asked where her diploma was when I graduated high school.
Hospital news: Some drunk rednecks were out target practicing using rubber bullets, but they have a metal core for weight and stability. One ended up shoot another in the gut. Did they call an ambulance? Go to the hospital? Noooo… remember they were drunken rednecks. One digs the rubber casing out of the superficial part of the wound and then digs a little deeper to remove the metal core that came out using his pocketknife. Well now they have this gaping wound to deal with. No problem redneck MacGyver goes to his truck and gets some fishing line and a hook. A little while later the wound is sewn up nice and tight… oh yes they poured beer on it to sterilize it. Yeah… beer.
The next day when sober the guy realizes, “Hey… this hurts!” so he drives to the ER where our doctor takes care of him. According t o the doc they didn’t do a bad job of stitching, minus the horrible attempt at sterile technique.
My wife has had vertigo for about two weeks now. No work, no driving… and for quite a few of the days no walking. She is still dizzy but back at work. Turns out its all because of a small infection in the labyrinth of her middle ear. Most likely viral, so we just have to wait for it to run it’s course.
