Sorry for the lack of updates, I really thought I had posted, but guess that was in an alternate reality :)
Mama has been doing a lot better. Saturday when I got there, she was sitting in the courtyard/garden. She sat up for a long time there and then for a while longer when we took her back to her room. She was talking a lot better, sounding like she was gaining strength back.
Yesterday, however, she wasn't doing so well. She started getting sick again, and they sent her over the the main hospital for another CAT scan. We haven't heard any results from that yet. I met her at Emory Eastside and stayed with her before the scan. Then (I'm guessing because I was in uniform and no one wanted to try to get me to leave) I stayed outside the room while they did the scan.
She said she was feeling sick but wasn't actually getting sick. Once back at the Heritage Center, she said she was feeling a little better, but the light was bothering her. Once I turned the lights off she said it was much better.
When I left she was just about asleep, but still hadn't eaten anything. Daddy was back up there after I left, and he didn't say she had been sick again. I forgot to ask him if she had actually eaten anything.
So that's it for the past weekend. I think she's still moving forward, we'll just have to deal with the little setbacks as they come.
