Mama is not doing too well today. We are not able to keep her awake for more than a minute or two at a time. The Nurse Practictioner came in and said that even though she had such a good day yesterday, it is not uncommon for her to have a bad day after a good one. She has a swelling on the side of her neck that hasn't been there before. They think it is just some soft tissue swelling because of the surgery, but they are going to review the scans she has had to get a better look at that area.
The good thing is that she still knows everyone. She can tell you who Daddy is and that he is her husband, who Aunt Sonya is and that she is her sister. She knew my name and Coco's name (we have a picture of Coco in the room with her), even that Coco is a schnoodle.
I'll update when we know more.

They just took Mama for a CAT scan.
