*..**~.,*

T'was twelve days before Christmas. The good ol' people around the city would ready themselves for what maybe the greatest and most awaited celebration every year. With caroling going on every evening, lights flickering with different colors, and snow falling every now and then, only a few to several persons would actually dislike or not care at all that it is indeed the time of the holidays.

These people either have some bad memories throughout this season or maybe they just don't seem to feel the spirit. A college student, dropout, a food vendor, a soldier, a normal high school student, a model, a martial arts scholar, an employee, a manager, a thief, a carpenter and a teacher. Finding friendship within each other is very hard despite the jolly ambiance.

Whether from being workaholics to laid back lazy bums, there's always a soft spot for somebody, maybe even a lot more other than just that somebody. One thing they all have in common is a bad connection with the apparent good Christmas. With different stories of grief, hurt, and sadness, only those with the same stories can bloom into joy because, as the saying goes: share grief and it will lessen; share joy and it will multiply.

They only have twelve days left to feel the spirit of Christmas. And to feel it, these Scrooges may have to become each other's ghosts of past, present, and future to find out. Through new friendships and trusts, they may have the chance to accomplish their not-so-thought-of, impromptu goal of bringing back the Merry to Christmas.

(first;)"It's going to be Christmas again." The young boy sighed as he watched the first snow fall before closing his window curtains and walking back to his desk to finish studying his books. He wasn't quite one to celebrate the holidays, not with all those university projects and research he needed to do to survive his first year as a college student. And Christmas was just going to be one of those annoying days where he needs to finish those.

(second;) He looks out their small apartment window, watching his sister or "noona" close the gates. The boy sighed as he notices the snow starting to fall, making it more saddening that his noona will still insist on working during the holidays.God knows where she's working since she never told him. "By next year, we would have more money to send you back to college. Right now, just let me work and you take care of this apartment." She would always say to him. Being a university drop-out had its toll.

(third;) The passing by of different people made the vendor boy sigh again. It was already the Holidays and these people were running from here to there trying to reach sales and bargain all through out the different stores. "I bet no one will even try to buy a steamed bun during this time." he thought. Just then a small girl came up to him ad his almost cold food. "Can I have a bun please?" she ordered as she stretched her arms out to give the payment. He just smiled, heated the food, and gave it to the small child. "Thank You Sir!" she exclaimed before running away to her mother and the boy just raised his cap in response.

(fourth;) Snow falling outside made the boy looked up in thoughts and just seemed lost. "Honey! You might catch a cold. Come back in here!" a voice inside the wooden house yelled. He was still staring at the sky until he realizes the yell. "I'm coming Mom!" He went inside in which he was greeted with hot chocolate and cookies. "Come on little boy, you can't sulk forever." His mother said before taking a bite out of her own chocolate chip cookie. The boy just sighed before sipping the hot chocolate and gazing out the window.

(fifth & sixth;) Sliding doors kept opening and kids with their parents came in and out of the toy store full of glee and wonder. The toy store was full of children, adults, and elders all looking for presents to give. But one employee just doesn't feel the spirit. "Hey you! Why don't you make yourself useful and help the others." The manager yelled. "Okay." The employee just said nonchalantly which made the manager raise his eyebrows up.

(seventh;) "Sir, your cup of tea is ready." the butler said when entering the enormous library."It's Christmas day, all is secure. One look at my watch and I knew he was right. Merry Christmas my friend, and to all a good night." the Master read aloud the last stance of the poem before laughing and closing the book. "Oh dear Wilheim, this poem is just too funny. Hand me my tea please." he said before placing his book on the table and reaching out for his tea. Butler Wilheim could only sigh as he watches his master mock the holidays.

(eighth;) The sounds of pine trees being cut down could only summon tingles throughout a young lad's body. "Are you alright?" a fellow carpenter asked. "I'm fine. I just don't enjoy this Christmas-y activity we're doing. I'm a carpenter for crying out loud. Not some tree decorator." the lad almost yelled. The co-worker didn't say anything more before patting the friend on the back to let him cool off.

(ninth & tenth;) Whilst walking through the thick crowd, a young mischievous boy people did not notice just seemed as cheerful as ever not knowing his hands were gifts from the gods making it very fast to even notice he was already pick-pocketing his way out of technique and luck. Until he tries to grab on to a wallet of a highly trained martial-artist scholar. "What do you think you're doing?" the boy asked the thief while on hold of the hand. The mischievous boy in return just smirked before letting go of the wallet and adjusting his coat. "Why, it's the first time someone has ever caught me doing business." After hearing that, the other boy just narrowed his eyes.

(eleventh;) "Show a bit of your right side and... We're finished!" the pictorial director said before congratulating the model. "For a young boy, you sure do have your attractive side on. Our Christmas advertisements will truly gain the customer's attention." he told the boy. "Oh it's nothing sir." he said to the director before leaving and heading out the building. He then realized the snow was already falling. "Oh great. Another Christmas Season." he just sighed, put on his beanie, and walked away.

(twelfth;) The teacher had been giving a lecture while a certain boy was only gazing out the window. He noticed the snow falling which made him look back at the teacher. "Tsk." Soon the bell had rung they were dismissed. The boy was about to go until the teacher stopped him. "Mister, it isn't quite polite to just stare out the window." The boy rolled his eyes. "Dad, you know me and the holidays." he said. "Oh I know for sure." The boy then just ran away and the man frowned.
