Also, as much as I would hate to see Danny go, you shouldn't keep him for other people's happiness if you're not feeling good playing him lately. I've tried that, and it just makes everything feel bad and adds a lot of pressure. :(

Though, if you wanted to try keeping him, maybe you could update (or canon reverse) him to a time when he's a bit happier in canon? or by a year or something so it'd at least feel like there was some time away from all the crap? This is why I miss the point of forgetting memories when you die in game thing, because you could just pull a dick move and be all "he's dying and forgetting all his bad stuff"

and i thought about that but if i had to rebuild all his cr again i'd really want to drop him
