  1. The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane - by Kate DiCamillo.
     - Borrowed from BPL.
     - Read by Judith Ivey.
     - I wasn't sure about this book but gave it a try since there are only 2 CD's.
     - The story is about a China rabbit, Edward Tulane, and his adventure to grow through heartache and trials.
     - Very good and character driven. I will reread. I was indifferent to Edward at first, but I started to like him during the book and at the end. I'm happy for him.
     - Highly recommended.
  2. Searching for Dragons: The Enchanted Forest Chronicles, Book 2 - by Patricia C. Wrede.
     - Borrowed from BPL.
     - full cast read.
     - I like this one a lot better than book 1. I think the characters are very entertaining.
     - I like Mendenbar, but my favorite character is Telemain and his nerdy way of talking about magic and wizardry.
     - I also like Jack and all the references the author makes about other fairy tales. Herman is awesome.
     - I have a feeling that Mendenbar is a bit of a cheap skate since he's going around and giving advice on people's career and how they can make money :)

  1. Chihayafuru 2 Episode 5-6
     - Watch on Crunchy Roll.
     - I feel bad for Taichi!
• Manga:
  
  1. Real 1 by Takehiko Inoue.
     - borrowed from BPL
     - so far so good.
     - All characters seem to have a chip on their shoulders.
     - I do like the budding friendship between 2 main characters.
     - sometimes, stupid mistakes lead to terrible consequences!
  2. Stepping on Roses 1 by Rinko Ueda.
     - I have collected the volumes of this series because I did like the other series Tail of the Moon, but have left them on the tbr pile to wait for the series to end. I have the first 8 in book, will get the last volume in ebook.
     - I'm a bit disappointed with the characters! I only read it for the art and the author's note. She talked about how she came up with names, title, and premises.
  3. Arata 12 by Yuu Watase.
     - borrowed from BPL
     - journey continues
     - backstory for the characters on cover - I forgot their names! The author promised their story will resolve in next volume.
  4. A Bride's story 4 by Kaoru Mori.
     - Follow the scholar's travel.
     - The twins are awesome. I like them a lot.
     - I love their mother, too. She's great.
     - Amir's tribe in trouble. Sigh! I'm afraid that they are shaking hands with devils!
  5. eta Demon Love Spell 1 by Mayu Shinjo.
     - Borrowed from ILL.
     - Chibi demon is just too cute.
     - There are some entertainment values in the story and pretty art.
