Chihayafuru 2 and Laissée pour Comte

  1. Chihayafuru 2 ep 2 and rewatch the whole season 1.
     - Taichi is really immature in the first few episode. He clearly has an inferior complex regarding to Arata. I like him better and better as the series progresses. At the end of season 1, he started to want to win for himself and compete with Arata. In spite of his flaws, and he has many, he showed Chihaya Arata's birthday wish to her. I find that impressive. I'm rooting for him, even though romance doesn't seem to be Chihaya's number 1 concern, so neither Arata nor Taichi is on her radar.
     - Chihaya is such a Karuta fan girl :)
     - The shaping of new members continues. Despite what Kana says about the new girl, Sumire. I don't like her. She's too much boy crazy and I don't think she's as cute as she thinks! I like the way Taichi's response to her question. I also looked through Chihaya manga volume 1 and 2, which cover the elementary years.

  1. Laissée pour Comte 5 Story by Seike Mimori and adapted by Shibata Isuzu
     - and reread volume 1-4 again again and again - I'd say 4 or 5 times this week! I enjoy its silliness.
     - Volume 5, Mireille came to the court as herself, no cross-dressing this time. Looks like the princess's mysteries will be the center of the last 2 volumes.
     - I think Richard and the princess are brother and sister. However, if the princess is 14 when Richard is 19, then when his parents died 7 years ago, he was 12 and she was 7. She would have remembered him as her brother, right? Anyway, I think he's the heir to the Syaran's seat. I also think Jierk and Fred know this fact.
     - Jierk's character seems to be more than just a playboy. He seems to be the leader and plans stuffs.
     - Now I want to be able to read the light novel. I wonder what is the chance that the French will license it, it doesn't look like light novels are doing so well there, either.
     - The last volume #6 is scheduled to be out in France 3/6/2013.
  
  - General question, I wonder if I can buy ebook from amazon.jp.
