Soccer, Basketball, and Awkward heroines

    1. Anime:
    2. Giant Killing: 22-26:
      - Watch on Crunchy Roll.
      - The ending isn't really the end since the manga is on-going with 24 volumes! I do want to know how the team continues to get better. But seeing that Whistle! didn't do well for Viz, it's unlikely that this one will get licensed!
      - Epi 26 seems to be nice wrap-up.
    3. Kuroko's Basketball: 1-25
      - Watch on Crunchy Roll.
      - Very entertaining, I will rewatch :) The characters' interactions are so hilarious at times.
      - A sport anime, I can't remember why I chose it after finishing Giant Killing, but I was hooked and finished the whole 25 episodes in a week.
      - The manga is 19 volumes on going so the ending isn't the ending again.
      - I do like Kise just because he's such a bishie. Kuroko because he's a nice kid and his dog :)
      - There are some similarity between this one and Prince of Tennis regarding their over the opt techniques!
      - I don't know about Momoi character. She is self-proclaimed Kuroko's girlfriend, but she seems to care a lot about Aomine and is the manager for his basketball team.
      - I had hoped that Kise's team would win, but ... oh well. Sometimes trying one's best isn't good enough.
      - it's still fun to watch. Recommended.
    4. My Little Monster 2-7
      - Watch on Crunchy Roll.
      - Continues to be interesting and funny.
      - I like the characters a lot.
    5. Say I love you 1-6
      - Watch on Crunchy Roll.
      - I seem some similarity between this one and Kimi ni todoke. Mei's unpopularity is different from Sawako's unpopularity. Mei seems to be by choice because she doesn't want to be betrayed.
      - Yamato's hair bugs me :)
      - His niceness is different from Shota's though.
    1. Manga:
    2. Canon 1-2: by Chika Shiomi.
      - borrowed from ILL (O)
      - Vampire isn't my cup of tea but I checked this out because it's short and by Chika Shiomi.
      - So far interesting. I'm not anxious to read the last 2 which isn't available for borrowing!
    3. Bunny Drop 6-7: by Yumi Unita.
      - volume 6 is mostly about Kouki's trouble!
      - volume 7: Rin was curious about her mother and wanted to know about her. I think the process was very nice. I like this volume better than #6. Will continue with the series.
    4. Slam Dunk (スラムダンク) 1-3: by Takehiko Inoue.
      - Borrowed from BPL
      - Hanamichi Sakuragi is so simple that he's hilarious and very entertaining
      - There are his friends, too.
      - Will borrow later volumes and continue to read.
    5. Rereading Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time 1-14 and 17: Adapted and Art by Tohko Mizuno:
      - Borrowed from ILL.
      - Skipping the parts about demons and read about the guardians and Akane.
      - Looks like the series is very popular, 8 volumes (Kanzenban) are released with each guardian on a cover, Yorihisa is on the first one. Very pretty. It seems that there are color pages, too. I wonder if there is an art book.

    Rambling:
  • Baroque Knight by Maki Fugita is licensed by Soliel and will be out in France March 2013 via Manga Conseil. YES! I should finish reading her other series Trill on Eden which has been sitting on the tbr pile for sometime, now!
