Civil Contract, Kimi ni Todoke, Pride, and From Far Away.

• Chapter Book:
  
  1. A Civil Contract by Georgette Heyer.
     - Borrowed from BPL.
     - I'm curious about this book because of the review and discussion at Dear Author
     - It was good and interesting read. I like Jenny a lot. She's so down to earth. Too bad that she's in love with a man who doesn't love her. I do like their friendship, though. I was a bit surprised to find out that they were expecting. I didn't expect that they slept with each other!
     - I like Jenny's father :)
     - I'm not sure about Adam. He seems too settled down, does have pride but ...
     
• Anime:
  
  1. Kimi ni Todoke : All Seasons : 1-36 without episode 16!
     - Watch on Crunchy Roll. I found out it's available on Crunchy roll and am so glad. I watched the whole 36 episodes in 5 nights in a row. Stayed up until 3am on Friday night to watch the sport meet and festival episodes! Happy sigh. I do want to get the dvd, but my pocket book doesn't like the price! Another reason is I've found that watching anime on the ipad is easier than dvd.
     - Sawako is Sawako. Her naivete is working for her advantages :)
     - Ayane and Chisuzu are good friends.
     - Shota is a very nice boy, he is not perfect, but his weaknesses aren't bad ones to have.
     - Ryu is also nice.
     - Pin is Pin.
     - I can't hate Kurumi.
     - Very nice story. Watching the anime made me want to reread the series.
• Manga:
  
  1. Drops of God 4 story Tadashi Agi and illustrated by Shu Okimoto
     - Borrowed from BPL
     - It's ok - not my cup of tea. I had to pick up, put down and force myself to finish because I couldn't renew it! Oh well.
  2. Pride 1-2 (プライド - Puraido): by Yukari Ichijo
     - from JManga
     - I read 5 free chapters on jmanga7 and bought the first 2 volumes from JManga! It was good.
     - Moe is a backstabbing rival but when confronted she didn't hide what she did. I prefer the rivalry of the characters in Glass Mask, though.
     - Shio isn't a spoiled rich girl and I'm glad for that.
     - Jinno is too calculating.
     - I can't wait for volume 3.
  3. Reread 14 volumes of From Far Away by Kyoko Hikawa
     - I was looking for Kimi ni Todoke to reread but only found 5-14, while searching for the first 4, I found this series so took them out for reread :)
     - Still very good.
     - I like Noriko and Izark a lot. They are both good characters, have strength and weaknesses.
     - I like Gaya, Doros, and Barago, too. I guess I can say I like all the good characters.
