Recently, I don't feel writing posts anymore. It has become a chore! So this week, I'll try only text form.
- Chapter book: A Wind in the Door by Madeleine L'Engle and read by the author - very interesting. This is the second volume of a quintet. I have the first book but haven't readfinished it yet - in fact, I got stuck around chapter 2 or 3! I'll read all soon enough. I hope.
Anime: - Natsuyuki Rendezvous 7-11 I like Hazuki and Shimao's sister a lot.
- Utakoi 7-12 I continue to enjoy it. Some love stories are very sad, though.
Manga:
- Alice in the Country of Hearts (1-3 omnibus) published by Yen Press. I had attempted to do side-by-side comparison to the TP's versions. At the end, I abandoned the task and read the Yen version. Maybe this series doesn't really have a reread value to me anymore!
- Hotaru 9-10 by Satoru Hiura (in French): volume 9 continues right where volume 8 ends and not in terms of flash back either! Poor Hotaru. She was still doing her job splendidly, though. #10 moves to Feudal Lord's love life and how Hotaru tried to help!
- Maid Sama 14 in French: still on field trip Masaki's and Usui's relationship has become public and Usui transferred to a different school for last year of high school life. Suzuna entered high school. I'm kind of bored with this volume!
- Reread Gatcha gacha 1-8 by Yutaka Tachibana and Eensy Weensy Monster 1-2 by Masami Tsuda. The later makes me want to read the most recently 6-volume completed series by the author Chotto Edo Made. Fat chance that it'll get licensed!
- Laissée pour Compte 4 Story by Seike Mimori and adapted by Shibata Isuzu - wrapping up the story in volume 3. One interesting thing about this shojo manga is the heroine witnessed the hero killed his opponent - granted a bad guy. But she didn't want anyone killed. And that event became an angst reason for both! The good news is #5 will be released in November, so I'll buy that.
