My Girl 2

From Kaze website

Some points:
- loosely translated: Gradually, father and daughter get to know and begin to support each other. While learning life is not always that laughs, the vagaries of daily life and meeting new people and allow Masamune and Koharu form a real family, supported by the spiritual presence of Yoko. But arriving at the age of reason, the little girl continues unabated the ghost of his mother.
- This series continues to be a good and enjoyable read for me. There are new characters. Koharu makes friends at school and kids say things without thinking. It's daily life stuff.character- A teen pregnancy scare for Koharu's friend's big sister and their family deal with it with Koharu's grandmother's wisdom.

Bottom line, very slice of life read.

Some points:
- loosely translated: Whatever the concern, it is Koharu who gives Masamune strength to overcome them. Koharu is now CE1 and has not lost sight of her dream at the same middle school as her mother. Masamune, meanwhile, is eager to fulfill the wish of his daughter and works hard to give him every chance of achieving it. The choice between private lessons, interviews and reviews, the path to reach their goal is not easy. But the tests are crossed for them all the way to strengthen links between them, each protecting the other in its own way.
- continue to be a good read about a gentle and daily live of the father and daughter. There are also episodes concerning Masamune's parents. Sho and his parents are back. I guess that Sho will be a good friend to Koharu.
- Masamune is calmer than Daichi of Bunny Drop. So far there is no love potential for Masamune yet.

Bottom line, on ward. Nice series.

My Girl 4-5

Written and illustrated by Mizu Sahara

From Kaze website
Vol 5:

Some points:
- Loosely translated:
- vol 4: Koharu has grown, and if her mother has always first in her heart, she realizes that Masamune should have the right to meet other people, to grow the family larger then just the two of them. But if Masamune feels he needs to move forward, will he be ready to put aside his love for Yoko?
- vol 5: A final volume tinged with hope and love. Masamune began building a relationship with miss Katagiri, who confessed her feelings. The young woman tries to integrate gradually the family formed by Koharu and Masamune, despite the memory still fresh of Yoko. Together, they will learn to overcome the weight of the past to build a bright future ...
- It's a gentle series dealing with loss, moving forward and having a family.
- There is an epilogue when Kokaru is in middle school with her 2 friends. Sho is still sulking ;)
- This series is of the similar theme as the first 4 volumes of Bunny Drop.
- Masamune is so awkward.

Bottom line, reread? Definitely. I hope this series gets licensed in the US.
