At Wataru Fujii's high school, it's all the rage to wear paired rings with the girl you love. Wataru wears one though he is single, and one day inadvertently discovers that his ring pairs up with that of tall, handsome, and smart Yuichi Kazuki, the senior classman idolized by the entire school. Though Kazuki has a reputation for being kind to all, when dealing with Wataru, he is strangely harsh. Their paired rings somehow draw them together and the two alternately clash and attract, as they must sort out their budding feelings for each other.

- I've read a favorable review about this series from it can’t all be about manga... After reading Uraboku, I want to read more of Hotaru Odagiri's art so I remember this. It turns out only 1 volume, there are light novels which I also borrowed.
- I've read somewhere that one of the attractive of Yaoi stories is its forbidden love aspect. I tend to agree on this.
- The characters are likable. I really like Wataru's sister.
- I need to mention strangeness of the ring which fits the middle finger of one on the right hand should fit the ring finger on the left hand of the other. I can understand for 1, but both sides! Come on! I think just need to overlook this absurd detail because it makes the story cute.
- It's funny how Kazuki shows Wataru his real mean self!
Bottom line, it's interesting read.

- I got this Kobato Illustration from Kino last week. So pretty, one regret is there is only 1 or 2 drawing of Fugimoto!
- I also got this series by one of lyschan's favorite author: Yamaguchi Miyuki: Tenkuu Seiryuu - Innocent Dragon, 天空聖龍～イノセント・ドラゴン～, manga updates. Series is 9 volumes complete in Japanese.
- Characters of interests:
- カナン is the girl on the cover. She seems to be clumsy but she can talk to animals and they understand her.
- ラムカ: The boy on the cover. He's a son of the lord of the town. His job is to protect the town from the attack of the sky dragons. He met/rescued カナン while fighting the dragons and brought her to his home. He has a childhood friend whose father is a doctor in town and this friend is following his father's career.
- The white hair boy on cover 6 and 8 seems to be ラムカ's younger brother since at the end of volume 4, he's calling ラムカ "aniue". Maybe it's the same father but different mother since ラムカ's mother escaped when ラムカ was a baby! He also calls カナン by a different name and she calls him サニン sama!
- I've read the first 2 + 1 chapter in #3 in scans - I have all 9 takobon. So I was able to follow the story in later volumes since the characters are introduced and the setting is described. There are lots of things I don't understand. Like this サニン and his power. I know how it ends but the journey there, I miss a lot! Over all it seems like a very good story.
- ラムカ is funny. When he sulks, he'd go to his bestfriend's house and sulk there :)
- Also, there's a part when カナン decided to leave the village, I suspect that her staying there dangers them or something to go back to サニン - maybe she was his handmaid! He also seems to be in love with her. Love triangle.
- eta: events I don't understand:
* how カナン escaped from the dungeon in the castle the second time and ended up working in the tavern that she had been there before with ラムカ?
* I think at the end of volume #8, サニン did something bad to カナン maybe rape I'm not sure, I wish I understood how she was able to overcome that bad event and moved on.
* did ラムカ and サニン really fight each other and why? and if ラムカ killed サニン? I suppose they never reconcile at the end?
- It looks like the French really like Takako Shigematsu, the author of Ultimate Venus, since Taifu (a french publisher which publishes Ultimate Venus, Bound Beauty ...) just licensed Makamisama no Iutoori! (真神様の言うとおり!) under imprint Ototo the first 1 volume will be released March 2012 - via Manga Conseil.
