Some points:
- Loosely translated: Mikako met her father. After a long separation, it's now time for them to get to know each other. However, Mikako's mother is doubtful between jealousy and the fear of losing her daughter. Ai Yazawa tells a delicate story about divorce without humor and also pickling solution.
- Another delightful read. The gang also went to Body Ko's summer house.

Bottom line, on to #5 :)

Hahaha! I'd forgotten about Body-ko. Then I read your summary and remembered and laughed.

I really like Gokinjo Monogatari. All of her works are so good and well written in terms of the characters, their emotions and relationships and so on... but Gokinjo is so happy and colourful and bright, so it'll probably always be my favourite. (pleeeeease, license it, Viz!!!)

I want Body-ko and her childhood crush to work out and Yusuke and Ayumi - we'll see what's the future volumes hold :)
- I don't know why I'm dragging my feet through this series. I do like her other series: Last Quarter and I'm not an angel. After finishing Gokinjo, I have to go back and reread Paradise Kiss :)

Some points:
- Loosely translated: the 5th volume starts with a story told by Sanae about their junior high school years. Mikako was a delinquent. Encouraged by her classmate's (Mikako) frank attitude, Sanae began to realize about her secret that she had kept for a long time.
- Seiji made appearance as an assistant for Mikako's mother.
- Tsutomu was in doubt and not sure what he wanted to do while Mikako was moving forward with her dream of designing clothes.
- School festival.
- I was wondering about Ms Hamada. In this series, she's 27. Then she'd be 40+ in Paradise Kiss, right? Just checking ...

Bottom line, it's kind of ending on a cliffhanger, so onward to #6.

"Seiji from the star planet(?)!! Hahaha!!"
That cracks me up big time.
I kind of got the ending I like but
I can't help but feeling sorry for Bodyko. I was hoping she and Sen-chan would be together and everyone was happy, but no such luck. The epilogue with Miwako and company is cute. I had forgotten whose Arashi's mother is :)

From DelCourt website

Some points:
- Loosely translated: Vol 6: School festival. Azumi had to watch the art exhibit. She told Yusuke about Mariko's decision. What would he do when he learnt that she didn't want to continue her studies.
Vol 7: Will Ayumi's love got reciprocated? Will Body-ko find happiness? Will Tsutomu find the goal of his adult life?Mikako finally decided to study in London.
- That's strange. The spoilers for vol 7 actually occur in vol 6.
- In vol 7, the gang had the last flea market run before Makiko leaving for London the next day. They had a good bye party at the old haunt.
- Mikako's daily life in London and missing Tsutomu and he missed her.
- Yusuke is funny :)
- There is a bit of an epilogue in the story for Miwako - Mikako's little sister, and her 2 friends Hiroyuki and Arashi - They're so cute. I realize that Miwako is a few months older than the other 2 guys.

Bottom line, happy sigh, what a fun series. Onward to reread Paradise Kiss ... Reread? Definitely. Recommended? YES!
