I was a bit skeptical about The Prince and Me. It's a charming movie. Luke Mably is totally believable as a prince (playboy or otherwise). He's really charming. I like Julia Stiles fine. I have mixed feeling about her. I'll watch the movie again.
A side note: I googled and found out that there are The Prince and Me 2 (2006) and The Prince and Me 3 (2008) - however, the only original cast is Luke Mably. Interesting. I have to watch them ;) On a second thought after reading the review from amazon.com - maybe not. Why oh why has Luke Mably agreed to be in it? Poor guy!

I thought I'd like The Triumph of Love with such a great cast. I think it's not the movie, it's me. I'm the problem because of *the end justify the means* kind of story line. She loves only one person, but in order to get him, she seduces 2 others. I have a problem with that. Those people have feelings, too. I don't see what's so funny about the story line. They are all very good actors, if only I could get over how things work. Alas!

After watching in The Prince and Me, the prince in Ever After played by Dougray Scott is paler in comparison. It's not fair for me to compare these 2 princes since they are from different era. It's not that he's not charming, but there is nothing princely about him - to me. It's an interesting story and movie, I don't regret watching it but won't watch it again.
