Actually I wanted to say that a lot more than a dollar short but that's the expression ...

Yoh's worried that a freshman seems to have the hots for Haruna, but Haruna is as oblivious as ever. So when the boy in question makes a move on Haruna, how will she respond? More importantly, how will Yoh react?
Some points:
- Haruna suddenly became popular with freshman :) - that was a bit dramatic
- Haruna's birthday. She's just too cute. So is Yoh, of course.
- I like Asaoka's timing comments and pressures/teasing much more than those of Asami - fortunately she's nicer in this volume.
Bottom line, another delightful volume and a delightful series to boost. I like it a lot.

The school sports festival is coming up, so everyone's gearing up for some fierce competition! Even affairs of the heart become a competitive event when Yoh suspects his friend Asaoka may truly have feelings for Haruna...
Some points:
- Sport meet. Haruna, Yoh, and Asaoka appear a lot, other characters are in the background, in fact, I can't remember if the other 3 actually say anything.
- Haruna tried to guess what Yoh would do and vice versa - backfire :)
- Asaoka's and Yoh's standoff - kind of.
- I like Haruna more and more.
- Asaoka teases Yoh a bit too much :) I gues he had to do that to mask his real feelings.
- Yoh is so cool - but everyone knows that :)
Bottom line, a bit of a fan girl there.

Friendship and love are put to the test when Asaoka reveals to Yoh that he likes Haruna. To settle things once and for all, Yoh and Asaoka strike a deal--whoever loses the school sports meet will give up his feelings for her! Who will win the meet and Haruna's heart?
Some points:
- the end of the sport arc.
- Yoh *hung out* with Haruna and her family.
- I'm hoping Manami and Asaoka end up together.
- Next arc, Yoh and cram school - meeting an *interesting* character who scares both Yoh and Haruna. I've read the scan and the antics she did - let's just say that this is not my favorite arc. I'd rather skip it but for Haruna and Yoh.
Bottom line, Haruna and Yoh rule :) (fangirl flailing shamelessly!).
