Within the castle are numerous wax figures, even replicas of each participant. They soon find out that their mysterious host, Mr. Redrum, had more deadly plans for his guests than a mere game. Vol 14: The Gentleman Thief is a famous thief who likes to steal famous artwork, and mutilating the object featured in the artwork. However, it seems that this time he has gone too far, by killing the father of one of Kindaichi's friends. Can Kindaichi solve this mystery? Vol 15: Many Japanese soldiers committed hara-kiri while island hopping during World War II. However, it seems someone - or something - still lives, and is out to kill Kindaichi and his friends... Can Kindaichi get him and his friends off the island before they're all killed? Vol 16: Kindaichi is summoned to examine a mysterious note declaring that the train bound for Shikotsu ga Hara in Hokkaido will be transformed into a “magic train of death.” When Kindaichi boards the train to investigate the threat, he meets members of the Illusionary Magic Troupe who perform magic on the train. But as the magicians go missing before they can complete their tricks, it’s up to Kindaichi to uncover the identity of “Hell’s Puppeteer” who has announced that he has planted a bomb aboard the train. Is this the end of the line for Kindaichi? Vol 17: THE UNDYING BUTTERFLIES is a rediscovered butterfly species that's made its discoverer very famous. It's also inspired a murderer, who leaves his victims pinned like butterflies! Can Kindaichi stop a killer so cold-hearted that a child becomes one of his targets?
Some points: - Still interesting series. - I'm hoping that it's not totally canceled and just delayed until next year.

Bottom line, will get #18 if/when it comes out.
