from CMX website:Vol 1: A new series debuts from renowned fantasy manga artist Kyoko Shitou! After a king and his eldest son die, the kingdom of Laudere is left without a ruler. Asta, the last surviving member of the royal family, stands in line for the throne. But before he can claim it, he must fulfill a quest: find the legendary "Key to the Kingdom." Both ancient beasts and a variety of contenders - including a princess, a dimwitted military captain, and a villainous aristocrat - imperil his journey. Someone will find the Key, but will it be Asta?
Vol 2: Asta and his ally Badd arrive in a town at the same time as Gaius, the heart-eating Dragon Man. Is he an ally or the one foretold in the prophecy? Then a feverish Asta has a dream in which the origin of the struggle for power at the heart of the "Key" is revealed.
Vol 3: The next phase of the quest begins, with the search for "The Invisible Tower," an elusive location that contains an important clue. A new competitor enters the ring: Fireheart, a man who is impervious to the flames of the Dragon Men. He welcomes Prince Asta and his protector Badd to his castle, where he shares with Asta an important family secret he learned from Asta's father just before he died.
I got book 1 and found it's interesting so I got 2 and 3. The series has ended in Japan and 6 volumes :)

wikimanga updates from viz website:Vol 1: Kahoko is a normal student in the General Education department with absolutely no musical skill, but all that changes when she catches a glimpse of an elusive fairy who lives on campus. The fairy grants Kahoko a magic violin, and before she knows it, she's nominated to participate in the school's music competition with five very attractive boys. Will she win love and fame, or will bitter rivalry rule the day?
Vol 2: Kahoko may have a magic violin that gives her some technical ability, but the violin's true magic is only unlocked when Kahoko "feels" the music, something she's having trouble doing in the midst of all the new tension in her life. She's supposed to be getting to know her fellow competitors, but the first stage of the competition is coming soon, and she barely has time to pick her music, let alone make new friends. So why is she so drawn to her fellow Gen Ed student, Ryotaro...?
Vol 3: The first round of the music competition is about to begin, and Kahoko's accompanist reveals her plot to get Kahoko disqualified! Unsettled by this betrayal, Kahoko can't enjoy the music, even when Ryotaro steps in as her new accompanist. Kahoko's performance is mediocre, but Ryotaro finds himself added as a second-round contestant. Will their budding friendship be ruined by the heat of competition?
Vol 4: With the second round approaching, Kahoko is finally getting invested in the competition. But her newfound determination is tested when fellow contestant Azuma unleashes his dark side at her expense. Kahoko feels threatened by his shocking behavior, but Azuma's good boy image is so strong that no one would believe her side of the story. Can Kahoko withstand the pain and pressure of the music school life?
Vol 5: The much-anticipated Second Selection has begun! When Len's musician parents show up as special guests, Len feels pressured to turn in a powerful performance. Will he outdo himself...or succumb to backstage sabotage?
Plus, a bonus story! The young Kazuki is forced to choose between track and trumpet...and risks losing his best friend!
Vol 6: Kahoko wanted to get closer to her fellow contestants, but she wasn't expecting an engagement! When Azuma asks her to pose as his fiancée to discourage a girl with an out-of-control crush, just how far will the deception go? Then Kahoko discovers that cheerful trumpeter Kazuki has worries of his own...
Plus a bonus fantasy story!
First I had some doubts about this series because it's from a rpg, but I checked it out through the scanlations and I found it interesting. So I got this, still going on, though. I like the heroine, she is neither clumsy nor clueless (not totally anyway).
I've watched the last episode of
Cardcaptor Sakura today (Sakura's birthday!). It was a coincidence, though, I'm glad, however. This series is just too cute for words. I regretted that it ended and continued to rewatch the 2 Sakura movies just so I know what the answer to Li kun was ;) I will rewatch this series - happy sigh. I cheated and skipped the beginning and ending credits - I saved 5' or so each episode, next time I watch credits since I'm not rushing anywhere...
