  2. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
     - borrowed from bpl
     - read by Josephine Bailey.
     - I've read this many times. This is the first listening, though.
     - When I read it the first time, I rooted for St. John Rivers. I didn't like Mr. Rochester, he was too old for Jane, never mind that she loves him!
     - Later times, I still didn't see why Jane didn't love St. John Rivers. I didn't dislike Mr. Rochester, I prefer St. John because he didn't trick her like Mr. Rochester. I think Mr. Rochester manipulative.
     - This time, I understood why Jane couldn't love or marry St. John. She would be very unhappy.
     - I admire Jane's strength and principles. I wonder, though, what would a Jane of 20th century do? Mr. Rochester can divorce his wife based on lunacy ground.

     - intertwining between previous life and this life.
     - I like this series better and better.
     - I'll wait until the library has both 10 and 11 and finish the series, I can't stand the suspense (I suspect that there will be cliffhanger) of volume 10!
  2. Gisèle Alain 5 by Sui Kasai - in French
     - ah, reunion, Gisele and Eric. Eric was able to tell Gisele that he had been ghost-writer for a famous author
     - Gisele's 14th birthday with her house mates and their friends.
     - a couple of Gisele's jobs.
  3. Merman in my tub 1 by Itokichi
     - borrowed from ILL
     - very similar to the anime.
     - I shudder at the water and heat bill. I wonder why the main character lives by himself when he's a highschooler and his parents live nearby.
