  1. A Natural History of Dragons: A Memoir by Lady Trent by Marie Brennan

     - Read by Kate Reading
     - I really enjoy the book and the reader. I got the book from a give away but it's been sitting on my toberead pile now I can give it away.
     - I am sad that Jason died, though, even though I kind of guessed it, since the author was Lady Trent and not Mrs Amherst!
     - I didn't expect the mystery solving part, but I enjoy the story very much, and will continue.
  2. Tortall: Song of the Lioness, book 3: The Woman Who Rides Like a Man by Tamora Pierce

     - Alana was knighted and now on her first adventure.
     - She rejected Prince Jonathan's offer. George is still waiting for her, so he becomes her rebound! He has problems in his gang.
     - Alana's twin brother is being trick to revive Duke Roger who, I guess, will be back in next book.

     - Ah, now it's hinted from whom the present is.
     - Pancake eating and pilgrimage. Secrets revealed.
  4. Yona, Princesse de l'Aube 6 by Mizuho Kusanagi - in French
     - This cover is Yeon and Yona which is fitting because what they are going through in the pirate arc.
     - Gigan's test for Yona.
     - Ji-hae is stubborn :)
     - Hak!
     - Shin-Ah is very cute. Ki-Ja awww!
     - I just realized that the french manga volume size isn't exact the same as the japanese tankobon, it's about 1/8 or 1/4 in larger, because some panels is cut strangely so I compared the 2 volumes! I had decided to stop buying Yona tankobon starting at volume 17, now I will continue buying the series in Japanese.
  5. Lady and Butler 7 Story by Fuyu Tsuyama and Art by Rei Izawa - in French
     - Sport meet. Ryo is excited. Hakuo gave her his headband.
     - Ryo learnt to cook since she wanted to do things for Hakuo to make him happy. She started to feel strange around Hakuo. The 2 went on a date an outing to Ryo's hometown. And Hakuo promised to stay by Ryo's side forever to protect her. It doesn't seem like a declaration of love or a confession. More like a caring friend.
     - Iori and Hayato are funny.
  6. Love So Life 2 Kaede Kouchi - in French
     - Valentines. The twins are cute.
     - Going to the zoo.
     - I'll get one volume at the time, even though the French is now up to 12 and the Japanese i 16!
  7. Sugar Family 5-6 - the end by Akira Hagio - in French
     - I am a fan of Arata unfortunately, he's too immature and impatient, or he just realized it's a lost cause. Even the mangaka told Yuka to choose Arata!!!
     - Back story of Ms. Ninomiya and Nanami.
     - Yuka is very mature and stands a bit higher than Sato even.
     - Sato's half-sister showed up and rocked the boat :)

• French license News via Manga Conseil: series see for all of them. Here are some that I'm excited about:
  • Rere : hello ! Vol.1 by Toko Minami, 1st july 2015, 5 volumes ongoing, Delcourt. The art seems cute and I've been curious about this series.
  • Umi no Cradle - Le Berceau des mers by Mei Nagano, 1st volume out 30 april 2015, 2 volumes complete. Komikku.
• Interesting articles about Manga scene in France:
  via manga conseil's twitter, apparently josei isn't doing well in France. Nodame Cantabile by Tomoko Ninomiya isn't cancelled but it is on one volume/year publishing schedule. Volume 19 was out April 1st, 2015. Panini licensed Ane no Kekkon by Keiko NISHII is cancelled/on hold! So I got all 8 volumes in Japanese, maybe it's not helping! It seems that Office Lady manga genre is doing better, but it's not my cup of tea.
  • On the other hand, from Debaoki's twitter, this article stated that "Did you know that France accounts for 50% of VIZ Media Europe's manga sales? ... American manga sales are $120 million and Europe and the Middle East combined make $250 million."
