Mar 11, 2014 22:32

    1. Anime:
    2. Tonari no Seki-kun: The Master of Killing Time: episodes: 3-10
      - Crunchyroll
      - Very funny. All the reactions are from Yokoi, she makes the story funny.
    3. Samurai Flamenco: episodes: 1-7
      - Crunchyroll
      - I didn't expect to enjoy this one as much as I do.
      - Nice guy characters. Idealistic one and jaded one.
      - Unexpected character - the idol :)
    1. Chapter Book:
    2. Children of the Red King #8: Charlie Bone and the Red Knight by Jenny Nimmo.
      - Borrowed from APL.
      - read by Simon Jones.
      - Last book of the series.
      - Count Harken is still here. Billy's story continues.
      - Very satisfying read. I will reread this series.
    1. Manga:
    2. Degenki Daisy 13 by Kyousuke Motomi.
      - Borrowed from BPL.
      - continue with M's Testament arc.
      - Teru's brother was interesting. She knows him well.
    3. No matter how I look at it, It's you guys' fault I'm not popular 1-2 by Nico Tanigawa - borrowed #2 from ILL. I got 1.
      - The story is poignantly sad even when it makes me laugh. I can't help but sighing about it. The poor girl.
    4. Shirayuki aux cheveux rouges 2-5 by Sorata Akiduki - in French.
      - finally I was able to catch up with this series.
      - Zen's brother is fit for a king and luckily he seems to care for Zen.
      - There is a little understanding. Is it going to be enough to stable their relationship?
      - Lots of events occurred.
      - Zen finally declared to his brother his intention, and the first prince was shocked. I keep wondering where their parents are. Zen's brother seems to rule the country, then shouldn't he be king?
    5. Crimson Empire: Circumstances to Serve a Noble 3 - The End by by QuinRose and Hazuki Fubata.
      - borrowed from ILL
      - Hm, open ending.

  • Viz announced 2 new licenses last week that I'm very excited about
    • Master Keaton story by Hokusei KATSUSHIKA and art by Naoki URASAWA via via ANN, I didn't think I would ever able to read it in English, so when the French licensed them, I got the French volumes (1-4 so far which I haven't read yet!), now I'll get the English volumes. Can't wait.
    • Yukarism by Chika Shiomi via Shojo Beat twitter YES!!!!! I'm thinking of getting this in ebook since both Yurara and Rasetsu - other series by the same mangaka - are available there, I'm assuming that this one will, too. Fingers crossed, if not, I'll get print version.
I feel like I missed another shojo license from Viz but can't find it!
