day 1: reverse mock triathlon
~run~
3 miles in 00:34
~bike~
12 miles in 00:57
~swim~
900 yards in 00:18
Comments: the running pretty much killed me. i had finished the first lap in 00:01:30 and that just wiped me out throughout the whole running phase. plus we didn't start until 0945 and it was WAY too hot by then. never again will i pull that kind of stunt! hmff. i felt dizzy and nauseus. wanted to just pass out so i can opt out of it. but i managed to do it. everything i learn not to do, i did and as a result, it killed me. such a big mistake! =/ the cycling portion wasn't all that great either because of the route we decided to do.. not the best way to go. and everytime we rolled downhill, i kept on thinking, "what if i hit a rock and i just lose control and skid my way down the street and a car runs over me!?" not the smartest thing to think about when you're going downhill on a high speed! =x anyway, as soon as we got back to the parking lot, it was time for the swimming portion of it and i was totally pumped and ready to go! :D it was drenched with sweat and jumping into that cool pool water.. felt amazing! did my thing. took it slow. my legs was worthless for the first 200 yards or so. and before i knew it, i finished the swimming portion of it and i was done! so you can imagine what happened after we finished the triathlon.. ate lunch.. and pretty much crashed in bed for 4 hours or so.. lol
day 2: gym
Comments: i was worthless that morning. couldn't get up for teh life of me! my body was completely sore and i just didn't have it in me. so i decided to just go to the gym instead of not doing anything at all.
day 3: run + swim
~run~
3 miles in 00:34
1 mi warm-up + 1 mi drills + 1 mi warm-down
~swim~
600 yards in 00:13:24
Comments: i woke up an hour late. didn't think i was gonna be able to pull it off considering i'm still feeling a bit exhausted. but i managed to have my breakfast and do my morning thing. and since the morning was feeling really good.. and the timing wasn't THAT big of an issue.. i forced myself to run the tracks. did a mile warm-up, break, .5 mile drill (sprint straights, jog curbs), break, .5 mile drill again, break, a mile warm-down. ya jogging the curbs part wasn't really jogging.. i could've walked faster than that! so pathetic! i'm hoping to build my endurance a little more the next time around. but i did it. and glad of it too! and i figured, since i didn't swim yesterday, i was gonna jump in the water and do some laps. in which i did. but since time became an issue, i didn't go very far. better some than none.
